Black Creek Porter, the first commercially available beer from the Black Creek Historic Brewery is now available in select LCBO stores. Sold in distinctive 500 mL pint bottles, the porter is based on traditional Ontario recipes of the late 1800s. Characteristic of traditional turn-of-the-century porters, Black Creek Porter offers a smooth roasted flavour with notes of coffee and chocolate and a pleasing bitterness in the finish. The recipe was derived from the traditional brewing techniques which are faithfully reproduced today at Black Creek Historic Brewery located in Black Creek Pioneer Village. It can be enjoyed on its own, or paired with red meats or desserts.
