This summer, keep your eye out for mustard like you've never experienced before. Following the French tradition, Maille will be bringing authentic mustard pumps to Ontario for the first time ever using the pop-up format beginning with Pusateri's Fine Foods on Avenue Road in Toronto until mid-August. For $20 you can purchase the refillable stoneware pot and fill it with the exclusive Dijon Chablis mustard on tap, freshly imported from France. Each stoneware pot comes packaged in a custom box alongside a small wooden serving spoon. “Freshly pumped mustard is in a league of its own,” said Harry Lalousis, one of Maille's three highly-trained mustard sommeliers. “It is a must-try delicacy that made our founder Antoine-Claude Maille so successful among the royal courts of Europe.” This unique mustard experience will continue throughout the year moving from one gourmet boutique to the next, go online for an updated list of locations.
