8th Annual Tour de Mississauga

Bike one of five route options while exploring the ins and outs of Mississauga with the 8th Annual Tour de Mississauga. This free bike race begins and ends at Celebration Square and offers routes for every riding level with rides of 15KM, 30KM, 60KM, 100KM and the “˜City Classic' 120KM that will take up to six hours to complete. Participants can enjoy a free BBQ from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. thanks to the support of the Region of Peel Walk + Roll program. On September 23 we get an astonishing look at the glorious and unappreciated ground beneath our feet with the film Dirt! and on November 4 Journey of the Universe presents an epic story of cosmic, earth and human transformation from the Big Bang to today. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the film beginning at 7 p.m. – $5 donations are welcome upon arrival to support event costs.

Iroquoia Club End to End Hike

Spend two weekends outdoors and complete the four sections of the Bruce Trail 2015 Annual Iroquoia Club Official End to End Hike. This challenging but extremely rewarding hike will take place rain or shine and is just one part of the Bruce Trail End to End program that covers 890km of trails from Niagara to Tobermory. Upon completion of each of the trail sections you will receive a badge so you can proudly display your accomplishment with the Iroquioa section awarding hikers with the Waterfall Badge. Registration is $45 and covers the cost of transportation and the Waterfall badge for those who complete all four hikes, or $15 for a single day hike.
