In 1987, Salvatore made his way to Canada via Switzerland and immediately threw himself into the culinary world, working at Villa Borghese and at the Centro Restaurant. Throughout his culinary career he has cooked for the likes of the late Pope John Paul II, Saudi royals, former U.S. president Bill Clinton, actors Daniel Craig and Robert DeNiro, and the great Canadian hockey legend, Wayne Gretzky. While working in the hospitality industry, he met his wife Anna, and for the last 23 years they have brought authentic Italian cuisine into the lives of their customers. Recently, they made the move to downtown Burlington, where they continue to welcome customers with open arms and delicious food, into an authentic Italian culinary experience.
