Locally inspired boutique hotel Andaz Ottawa ByWard Market is now open. The first official venture into Canada by the Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Andaz Ottawa worked with award-winning interior design firm Mason Studio to develop the hotel so each floor reflects the history and character of a specific Canadian province or territory. Each of the 200 contemporary guest rooms include interiors reflecting Ottawa's heritage, art pieces curated by the Canada Council Art Bank and locally sourced amenities. Also included at the hotel are six inspired studio meeting spaces, a ground floor restaurant and bar helmed by Executive Chef Stephen La Salle and a stunning rooftop lounge with sweeping views of the city. The most distinct aspect of the Andaz Ottawa is the Andaz Salon ““ a collaborative effort between the hotel and local artists, musicians and designers aimed towards creating events and programs for guests based on themes that are unique to the city. Events at the Andaz Salon will range from talks and lectures to exhibitions and live performances.
