Rocky Mountaineer train service is getting panoramic, but only for a short time. From June 14 to August 24, the Whistler Sea to Sky Climb will be available as the Dome Service. In the Dome Service guests will travel from Vancouver to Whistler, B.C. in a cabin with full-length dome windows. On this unique three-and-a-half hour trip travelers will get spectacular views of Howe Sound, the Coast Mountains, Mount Garibaldi, and Cheakamus Canyon from the reclining dome level seats on the upper floor, or from the exclusive lounge area on the bottom floor. Guests will also have access to the open-air Heritage Observation car, and the northbound passengers will be able to indulge in the locally-inspired hot breakfast, while the southbound passengers nibble on delicious afternoon appetizers. The Whistler Sea to Sky Climb Dome Service is $259 one-way or $399 for a round trip.
