Magnets secure the pitcher to the motorized base and drive the blades on the front-load, slide-in design and the blender comes with several pre-programmed, hands-free settings for juices, soups and sauces, milkshakes and icy drinks and smoothies, as well as utilizing the standard variable speed controls and pulse setting for added flexibility. An ingredient feed located on the top of the blender allows for the addition of ingredients during any point of blending while the Intelli-Speed Control system automatically optimizes blade speed to complete blending tasks as efficiently as possible. Incorporating Kitchenaids' exclusive Diamond Blending System with patented stainless steel blades and diamond shaped pitcher with the 1.8HP motor creates a powerful vortex that is capable of blending nut butters and icy drinks that can commonly burn out the motor on a lesser-quality blender.
