Prize money totaling more than $580,000 will be awarded during Halton Place’s show jumping season with the major focus on the three week Canadian Country Classic featuring two world ranked competitions. Facility owner, Timur Leckebusch, is particularly proud of Halton Place’s “Team Charity Challenge” initiative, which will pair show jumpers, and charities together in a team relay competition designed to support 15 different local charities. This first of its kind event in Canada will be given star status during the Canadian Country Classic with a VIP luncheon and primetime location in the schedule on Saturday, September 4. All proceeds will be dedicated back to the participating charities including not only the revenue from the sponsored teams, but also the VIP luncheon and general admission tickets.
