The Shaw Festival returns for it's 55th season of drama, comedy and downright entertainment. Tickets went on sale in December with a line-up of ten productions beginning in early April and coming to a close in October. “This season has newly realized pieces true to our mandate alongside work from brilliant contemporary Canadian and international voices, and an original production on the Festival Stage,” says artistic director Jackie Maxwell. “These offerings are an excellent representation of the Shaw Festival today ““ a progressive, leading cultural and artistic voice in Canada and beyond.” This year's festival offerings include Alice in Wonderland, Sweeney Todd, A Woman of No Importance, Uncle Vanya, “Master Harold””¦and the Boys, The Adventures of the Black Girl in her Search for God, Our Town, Mrs Warren's Profession, Engaged and The Dance of Death.
