Founded in 1983, Montreal-based family-operated business Kilani has recently launched its new Seven Deadly Sins collection of leather goods. Importing ethically sourced cowhides from Italy, a by-product of an existing industry, and handcrafting all pieces in Montreal, the new, unisex line uses architectural aesthetics and opulent hardware for a collection of clutches, bags and document holders, all lined with the signature ultra-soft royal blue calfskin suede. “My father carried a clutch in the 70s and into the 80s ““ a common trend at the time, and his luxurious palette truly inspired Kilani,” says Wael Kilani, founder and designer of Kilani. “My vision for this collection is to create iconic pieces that are timeless in its construction and are multifunctional for everyone.
